Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Walks with Mom

What a difference just a few days can make.  I've been trying to take Alex for walks outside when the weather is nice.  Monday seemed nice enough to walk without putting him underneath my coat.  But then came the awesome 70 degree weather the rest of the week.  We've been enjoying the beautiful weather.  And we aren't the only ones.  The parks in Rochester have been a hive of activity with all of the sunshine and warm weather.

Monday's walk with Mom.
Alex seems to enjoy walks in the front pack carrier.  This one is big enough that we should be able to use it for quite a while with him facing out when he gets bigger.

Excited and happy!  Ready to go walk around Silver Lake with Jill and Caroline.
We've met up with Caroline and Jill our neighbors at the Special Care Nursery several times for walks around Silver Lake.  A lot of you have asked me about Caroline since my post in December.  She seems to be doing very well.  She had to stay at the hospital a little longer than Alex, but came home on January 10th.  So far, she's not showing any signs of developmental delays and has been very healthy.  The plan is to continue to watch her closely for the first few years.  She's a little peanut yet - about 8 lbs compared to Alex's 12 lbs.  And she is so darn cute!!!!

Daddy's a Pest

Mike likes to pester people.  Usually I am on the receiving end of this attention, but now that Alex is here he has new recipient for his attention.

Alex focuses on objects more, like the monkey on his play gym.  He's also starting to track things when they move.

One of Alex's favorite objects is The Very Hungry Caterpillar book.

Thanks Auntie Anne for the alligator toy.  This toy has also been a crockodile, a dinosaur and godzilla.
